One Tribe 2021 'Together as One'

Thursday 21st October - Sunday 31st October

Free Admission (booking required)

This energetic art and multimedia exhibition showcases the work created by One Tribe participants in 2020 and 2021.

The exhibition celebrates the fifth year of this inspiring arts ability partnership between The Dean Crowe Theatre and Arts Centre, St. Hilda’s Services and Rehab Care Services Athlone.

One Tribe offers the opportunity for service users to take part in art, dance and drama workshops.

Led by Sandy Hughes, Colin Fahy, Aishling Fennell, Muirenn Lyons and Alix Bailey, the project moved online in 2020 and 2021 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This exhibition marks the return to in-person activity and presents the extraordinary results created under the most challenging restrictions. Also featured in the exhibition, Colin Fahy’s documentary and archive footage offers us a glimpse into the transformation and activity of One Tribe 4 and One Tribe 5.

This project is part of the Creative Ireland programme and is funded by Creative Westmeath.
